Map of Africa's river basins (2023)

This map, created by Adam Symington in 2023, shows all rivers in Africa with data from the WWF project HydroSHEDS.

For the representation, the author uses different colours to group the rivers of the continent's main river basins:

• Congo, in purple, in the centre.
• Nile, in blue, in the top right-hand corner.
• Niger, in red, in the centre left.
• Volta, in blue, in the centre left.
