Life expectancy in South America (2023)

This map, created by Landgeist, shows the average life expectancy in different South American countries, according to data published by Eurostat and the United Nations in 2021.

The author uses a colour spectrum ranging from yellow to dark blue, including green, to show life expectancy in different regions. At the top of the scale are Argentina, Uruguay, French Guiana and Chile (78.9 years). At the bottom are Venezuela, Paraguay, Guyana and Bolivia (63.6 years).
