Life expectancy in North America (2023)

This map, created by Landgeist, shows the average life expectancy in different regions of North America, according to data published by the United Nations in 2021 and by Statistics Canada in 2020.

The author uses a colour spectrum ranging from yellow to dark blue, including green, to show life expectancy in different regions. At the top end of the scale we find most of Canada, with Quebec in the lead (82.6 years). At the bottom end are all the regions of Haiti, with the West Department at the bottom (61.1 years).

You can also have a look at life expectancy around the world on this other map.
