Hydrocarbons in Central Asia (2023)

This map was published by Blanche Lambert in 2023 as part of the initiative #30DayMapChallenge.

The illustration covers Central Asia, focusing mainly on Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan, although it also shows part of China and Russia, as well as neighbouring countries such as Azerbaijan.

The map shows the various oil (in grey) and gas (in yellow) fields, as well as the route of the gas and oil pipelines.

You can find more information about the initiative here. #30DayMapChallenge in what I wrote in the newsletter.
