Map of Segovia, by Alberto Martín (1910)

Map of the city of Segovia published in Barcelona in the early 20th century by Alberto Martín, with information provided and reviewed by the city council. It is currently part of the Map Library of the General Military Archive of Madrid and the Map Library of the National Geographic Institute.

At the beginning of the 20th century, Segovia already had a railway station and the city had begun to expand in that direction, as can be seen on the map at the bottom left. The historic suburb of San Millán was already densely populated, while the suburb of San Lorenzo had not yet begun to develop.

The aqueduct is marked in blue, dividing the city and the suburbs into two. The area around Plaza del Azoguejo was still densely urbanised, as the redevelopment and demolition of buildings to make way for the N-110 motorway through the centre of Segovia did not take place until the mid-20th century.
