US military interventions (1798–2022)

This map, published in 2022 by Geopolitical Economy, shows all the countries in which the United States has admitted to carrying out military interventions, according to a report published by the United States Congressional Research Service in 2022.

The published report covers a total of 469 military interventions carried out by the United States between 1798 and 2022, more than half of which took place after 1991.

The map shows all the countries in which the United States has intervened, even if it was in their colonial territories, as in the case of Spain.

The report is somewhat conservative, as it does not include any type of intervention carried out by special operations or covertly that has not been publicly acknowledged by the United States.
