This map, created by painter Slavko Kopač, was published in 1954 as a pocket tourist map for visitors to Yugoslavia.
It is a pictorial map, in which the country's different cities feature prominently, represented by their most iconic monuments. Such is the case of the Gazi Husrev Beg Mosque in Sarajevo; the Old Bridge in Mostar; the Monument to the Unknown Hero in Belgrade; and a panoramic view of Dubrovnik.
In addition, the map also shows the main roads in red, the main railway lines in black, and some of the most relevant cultural aspects of each region.
