Map of Antarctic time zones (2011)

This map, created by Phoenix B 1of3 for Wikimedia Commons in 2011, shows the different time zones used in Antarctica.

The distribution of time zones on the Antarctic continent does not correspond to time zones or time zones in the rest of the world. This is due to the different international claims and the different stations operating on the continent.

On the map, the time zones used are shown in different colours, based on UTC (Coordinated Universal Time). The region marked with a line has a time change during the summer months.
