This map, published by QS Supplies in 2023, shows shower usage in every country in the world.

To this end, the map shows a gradient of greens, with darker shades indicating countries where showering is more common. At the top of the list are the Netherlands, New Zealand, Sweden, Austria and Germany. At the other end of the spectrum, with lower percentages of showering, we find Nigeria, Kazakhstan, Egypt, Ghana and Kenya.

The data collected for this study is based entirely on information about accommodation available on Booking.com in every country around the world. Although this can be considered a good approximation, it is important to bear in mind that it may be biased, as accommodation is tailored to the expectations of potential tourists.
