Population density of Norway (2022)

This illustration, created by Terence Teo, represents Norway's population density on a three-dimensional map. To do this, Terence extracted the data available at Kontur Population with which it generates columns using a programme, with a height that represents the population density at each point.

This map of Norway shows the different population peaks in its most densely populated urban areas, such as Oslo, Stavanger, Bergen, and Trondheim. There are also marked peaks in other smaller cities, although it is clear that the population density is higher in the south than in the north.
