This illustration, created by Terence Teo, represents Bolivia's population density on a three-dimensional map. To do this, Terence extracted the data available at Kontur Population with which it generates columns using a programme, with a height that represents the population density at each point.
This map of Bolivia shows the different population peaks in its most populated urban areas, such as Santa Cruz, La Paz, Cochabamba, Oruro, Sucre, Tarija, and Potosí. There are also marked population peaks in smaller cities located in more sparsely populated areas, such as Trinidad, Riberalta, and Cobija.
