This map, created by Landgeist in 2024, shows the average height of European men, according to data published by the NCD Risk Factor Collaboration in 2019.
European men are among the tallest in the world, with 19 countries ranking among the top 20 countries with the highest average height.
The highest average heights are found in the Netherlands (183.8 cm), Montenegro (183.3 cm) and Estonia (182.8 cm). At the lower end of the scale are Cyprus (172.7 cm), Albania (174.1 cm) and Bulgaria (174.2 cm).
