The true size of Bolivia (2022)

This map, created by Ruy Pinto Schaffroth in 2022, shows the comparative size of Bolivia and several European countries.

To do this, it shows two maps of Bolivia, comparing each of them with different countries in Europe to achieve a size approximately equal to that of Bolivia (1,099,000 square kilometres):

• On the left: Germany, England, Scotland, the Netherlands, Portugal, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Luxembourg, and Switzerland.
• On the right: France, Denmark, Slovenia, Austria, Bulgaria, and Belgium.
