This map, created by Manfred Zentgraf, shows the different Routes of Santiago that have been used in Europe since the Middle Ages to make pilgrimages to Santiago de Compostela.
The map shows the main route across Spain from the Pyrenees to Santiago de Compostela marked in red, divided into three parts:
- French Way, from Puente de la Reina to Santiago de Compostela.
- Camino Navarro, from Roncesvalles to Puente de la Reina.
- Aragonese Way, from Jaca to Puente de la Reina.
The three main routes originating in France are marked in blue:
- Road to Tours or Via Turonensis.
- Way of Vézelay or Via Lemovicensis.
- Le Puy Way or Via Podiensis.
- Arles Way or Via Tolosana.
