All roads lead to Mexico City (2023)

This map was published by Dolly Andriatsiferana in 2023 as part of the initiative #30DayMapChallenge.

The map shows all the roads from Mexico's 2,477 cities to the capital, Mexico City, always following the shortest route. The colour of the roads changes from light red to light yellow depending on the number of journeys from each city that pass through each of the roads.

You can find more information about the initiative here. #30DayMapChallenge in what I wrote in the newsletter.
