This map, published by Preyash Shah in Voronoi (a data visualisation application from Visual Capitalist) shows the comparative cost of a standard Netflix subscription in each country around the world.
The map shows the countries and territories around the world where Netflix operates, grouped into five ranges with different colours:
- In green, countries with an equivalent price of less than US$3.
- In light yellow, countries with a price between 3 and 8 US dollars.
- In dark yellow, countries with a price between US$8 and US$13.
- In orange, countries with a price between US$13 and US$18.
- In maroon, countries with a price between US$13 and US$23.
At the top of the range is Switzerland, with the highest prices, followed by Denmark, Greenland, Ireland, and the United States. At the bottom are Pakistan, Turkey, Argentina, Egypt, and Nigeria.
The prices and conversions to pounds sterling used in the display are those of 10 December 2023.
