This map, created by Truman Du for the website Visual Capitalist in 2023, shows the different systems of government around the world.

The system of government in each country in the world has particularities that may make it unique, but in general terms they can be grouped into the following:

• Full presidentialism, in blue.
• Presidentialism with a government linked to Parliament, in light blue.
• Semi-presidentialism, in dark blue.
• Parliamentarism, in green.
• Parliamentary monarchies, in light yellow.
• Constitutional monarchies, in dark yellow.
• Absolute monarchies, in orange.
• single-party system, in red.
• Suspension of constitutional guarantees through a change of regime, in pink.
