Map of the city of Teruel, drawn by Benito Chías y Carbó and published in 1910 in Barcelona by Alberto Martín, with information provided and revised by the city council. It is currently part of the Map Library of the National Geographic Institute.
This map is unique in that it includes contour lines, allowing us to appreciate how rugged the city's geography is. It particularly highlights the steep slope to the north of the walled city and the need to build the Arcos Aqueduct in the 16th century to bridge the gap and supply water to the city.
