This illustration, created by Terence Teo, represents Qatar's population density on a three-dimensional map. To do this, Terence extracted the data available at Kontur Population with which it generates columns using a programme, with a height that represents the population density at each point.
This map of Qatar shows the different population peaks, among which the urban area of Doha, the capital, predominates, accounting for almost two-thirds of the country's inhabitants. In addition, the illustration also shows other peaks in Ras Laffan and Mesaieed.
