Europe: Women in Science and Engineering (2019)

This map, produced by Eurostat using data from 2019, shows regional differences in Europe in terms of women's representation in science and engineering.

It highlights the greater representation of women in several regions of Spain, Scandinavian countries (Denmark, Sweden, Norway), Baltic countries (Latvia, Lithuania), Poland, and Bulgaria.

On the opposite side, we find Finland, Italy, Hungary, and much of Germany (the former Federal Republic of Germany).
