45 years is enough, Bulgaria (1989)

This map was created by Dimitar Tomov, a member of a human rights organisation in Bulgaria, coinciding with the fall of Todor Zhivkov as leader of Bulgaria on 10 November 1989, after 35 years in power.

On the map, Tomov shows all the concentration camps and prisons where dissidents from the People's Republic of Bulgaria were held. In red, at the top, you can read 45 years is enough!, referring to the 45 years that passed between Bulgaria's liberation by the Soviet Union and the end of the communist regime.
