Political map of San Marino (2007)

This map, created by Aotearoa for Wikimedia Commons in 2007, shows the administrative divisions of San Marino.

With an area of 61 square kilometres, San Marino is the fifth smallest country in the world, ahead only of Vatican City, Monaco, Nauru and Tuvalu. This map shows the nine castelli into which the country is divided, each marked with a different colour: Acquaviva, Borgo Maggiore, Chiesanuova, Città di San Marino, Domagnano, Faetano, Fiorentino, Montegiardino and Serravalle.

The country has no coastline, as it is completely enclosed within Italy, between the regions of Emilia-Romagna and Marche.
