This pictorial map of Peru was published in 1950 as part of a road map of Peru published by the General Drafting Corporation.
The illustrations shown throughout the map intersperse some tourist attractions with cultural and natural details of each region of Peru. In addition, a historical event is also included, the Battle of Ayacucho, possibly the most important in the history of Peru, as it was the battle that consolidated Peru's independence in 1824, during the Spanish American wars of independence.
