This map, published by Simeon Netchev For World History Encyclopedia, it shows Christopher Columbus's four voyages to America between 1492 and 1504.
The author uses different colours to show the route and landings of Columbus's four expeditions:
- In red, the first voyage (1492–1493). He left Spain with three ships and 89 people. The voyage included landings at San Salvador (Bahamas), Fernandina (Bahamas), Isabela (Bahamas), Cuba, and Hispaniola.
- In blue, the second voyage (143–1496). He left Spain with 17 ships and more than 1,500 people. The voyage included landings in Dominica, Guadeloupe, Antigua, Santa Cruz, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, and Isla de la Juventud (Cuba).
- In green, the third voyage (1498–1500). He left Spain with six ships and 226 people. The voyage included landings in Trinidad, Margarita (Venezuela) and Hispaniola.
- In purple, the fourth voyage (1502–1504). He left Spain with four ships and 147 people. The voyage included landings in Martinique, Hispaniola, and much of the Caribbean coast of Central America, including present-day Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Panama.
