This map, created by Álvaro Merino for El Orden Mundial in 2025, shows the structure of tourism in Spain.
In 2024, Spain welcomed more than 93 million international tourists, ranking as the second most visited country in terms of international tourism. This is partly due to the wide variety of tourist activities the country has to offer.
This map shows the main attractions in each region of Spain, with different colours highlighting cultural tourism (pink), sun and beach tourism (blue), green tourism (green) and winter tourism (purple).
In addition, the map also indicates the 16 national parks (dark green), the 15 World Heritage cities (dark blue), the main theme parks (red) and pilgrimage sites (yellow).
