Wine regions of France (2024)

This map, published by the Cellar Tours website in 2024, shows the wine regions of France.

France has 792,000 hectares of vineyards, making it the second largest country in terms of land dedicated to wine growing. This area allows it to produce a total of 45.8 million hectolitres of wine annually, placing it second in the world in terms of production.

This map shows all regions of France that have a controlled designation of origin.

Note: The Cahors region is not correctly located on the map, as it is situated in what the map refers to as the South-East region of France.
