The Roads of Oceania (2023)

This map was published Doug Greenfield in 2023 as part of the initiative #30DayMapChallenge.

The illustration shows all roads in Oceania, according to the database. Globio Roads. Among other things, this allows the islands to be delineated almost perfectly, even though their outlines are not drawn. It also allows us to appreciate the high density of roads in New Zealand, or the great differences that exist between south-eastern and south-western Australia, compared to the region of the great deserts.
