Our national bouquet of flowers (1911)

This map, created in 1911 by the United States Flower Company, represents each state of the union with flowers.

The map shows the 46 states that made up the United States in 1911, as well as the three associated territories of Arizona, New Mexico, and Alaska. Each state has its state flower framed. Almost all have their own, except for Mississippi and Alabama, which share the magnolia, and Nebraska, Missouri, Alabama, and Maryland, which share the solidago, also known as goldenrod.
