Economic map of Argentina (1914)

This map was published in 1914 by the Ministry of Agriculture, Directorate of Rural Economy and Statistics of Argentina.

On the map, Argentina is divided into four economic regions:

  • Blue: Northern region.
  • Green: cereal-growing region
  • Rosa: vineyard region
  • Orange: Patagonian region

Each of the provinces that comprised Argentina at that time is accompanied by detailed information on the main crops and livestock, as well as the population and land area. The map also includes red lines indicating railways in operation, those under construction (dashed lines) and those planned (dotted lines).
