This map, created by Reddit user tomydenger, represents the distance from every point in the world to India, using India from one end to the other as the unit of measurement. This corresponds to 3,214 kilometres, which is the distance between its southernmost point and its northernmost point.
As a result, the world is divided into six regions:
- In red, those places that are less than an hour away.
- In dark orange, those that are less than two Indias away.
- In light orange, less than three Indias.
- In yellow, less than four Indias.
- In green, less than five Indias,
- In blue, more than five Indies, an area of the Pacific off the coast of Chile and Peru.
