This map, created by Reddit user tomydenger, represents the distance from each point on the globe to Chile, using Chile from one end to the other as the unit of measurement. This corresponds to 4,270 kilometres, which is the distance between its southernmost point and its northernmost point.
As a result, the world is divided into five regions:
- In red, those places that are less than a Chile away.
- In orange, those that are less than two Chiles away.
- In yellow, less than three chillies.
- In green, less than four chillies,
- In blue, less than five Chiles, with a small region within China.
