This map, created by Landgeist in 2024, shows the situation of teleworking in Europe, according to data provided by Eurostat for 2023.
The map uses different shades of green to represent the percentage of workers who work from home at least half of the time, with a more intense colour indicating a higher percentage.
At the top of the table are Finland (22.2%), Ireland (21.8%) and Sweden (15.3). At the bottom are Bulgaria (1.1%), Romania (1.2%) and Greece (1.9%). The percentages for almost all countries have fallen compared to 2021 data, just one year after the pandemic, with Croatia being the only country where the percentage has increased slightly.
