This map, published by ThoughtCo in 2019, shows all the countries in the world that are crossed by the equator.
Of the 197 countries in the world recognised by the United Nations, only 13 are crossed by the equator, most of which are in Africa and South America. On the map, you can see all these countries, accompanied by their flag. From west to east: Ecuador, Colombia, Brazil, Sao Tome and Principe, Gabon, Republic of Congo, Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda, Kenya, Somalia, Maldives, Indonesia and Kiribati.
In the case of Kiribati and the Maldives, a clarification is in order. Although the islands of these countries lie around the equator, both north and south, none of the islands lie exactly on the equator. This is true for Sao Tome and Principe, where Ilhéu das Rolas is divided by the equator.
Interestingly, Equatorial Guinea, despite its name, lies entirely north of the equator.
