At the highest end are Argentina (17.9 years), Uruguay (16.8) and Chile (16.7). At the opposite extreme are Guyana (12.5 years), Venezuela (12.8) and Paraguay (13.0).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The data take into account the expected enrolment if school attendance ratios and legislation regarding compulsory education did not change in the different countries.
