It is written solely in Armenian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The author marks the borders of the Kingdom of Armenia after the signing of the Peace of Nisibis with a red line. From that moment on, Armenia became a vassal state of the Roman Empire, which helped it maintain its independence for almost a hundred years despite Persian pressure. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The map includes a wealth of detail about the towns and provinces into which the Kingdom of Armenia was divided, and is possibly the finest cartographic work of this period to date.
