This map was published by Phoebe Ly<\/a> in 2023 as part of the initiative #30DayMapChallenge<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a map of the Pan-American Highway covering only the South American section. The Pan-American Highway stretches from northern Alaska to Buenos Aires, with a small interruption between Panama and Colombia, along the Dari\u00e9n jungle. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The official section of this road in South America covers a total of 6,489 kilometres from Turbo, Colombia, to Buenos Aires, Argentina. There are two unofficial routes that extend southwards, one from Valpara\u00edso to Quell\u00f3n, Chile, and another from Buenos Aires to Ushuaia, Argentina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
