The map depicts the state of Bol\u00edvar during the period of the <a href=\"https:\/\/mapasmilhaud.com\/en\/old-maps\/the-united-states-of-colombia-1883\/\" title=\"The United States of Colombia (1883)\">United States of Colombia<\/a> and before the territorial reform that divided Colombia into departments in 1905. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The former state of Bol\u00edvar bordered the state of Magdalena to the east, the state of Antioquia to the south, the state of Cauca to the west, and the Caribbean Sea to the north.
