The copy was made by Johann Georg Kohl around 1840 and is currently kept in the Library of Congress in the United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Diego Ribero's greatest work was the Padr\u00f3n Real, of which six copies remain. This map is a replica of the American continent as it appears in the 1529 copy preserved in the Vatican Library.
