The different colours highlight the most common languages, while the fill type indicates whether it is the first language (solid colour) or the second language (hatched colour):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>French, in purple.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>English, in dark grey.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Portuguese, in yellow.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Spanish, in black.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Almost the entire African continent uses a language inherited from Europe.
