It is based on 2015 data from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fao.org\/home\/es\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">FAO<\/a> and of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ascleiden.nl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Leiden Centre for African Studies<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Of the 25 million Africans who leave their country each year, three quarters head for other countries on the continent. In absolute terms, the main destinations are some of the continent's major economic hubs, such as South Africa, Nigeria and Ethiopia.
