This map, created by Álvaro Merino for El Orden Mundial, shows the territorial division of Venezuela, with a total of 23 federal states, each with its respective capital, and the Capital District, which comprises part of Caracas.

The map shows the great importance of the Orinoco River, which crosses the country from west to east, until it empties into the sea in the state of Delta Amacuro.
