Political map of Palau (1989)

This map of Palau was published by the CIA in 1989, when the territory was still under US administration but already enjoyed autonomy and referred to itself as the Republic of Palau. The map is currently held in the cartographic collection at the Perry-Castañeda Library (PCL) at the University of Texas at Austin, in the United States.

The map shows all the islands that make up this oceanic country. A contextual map is also included in the bottom right-hand corner to help locate this archipelago.
