National Parks of Ireland (2022)

This map was published by Seán De Hoichtúin in 2022 as part of the initiative #30DayMapChallenge.

The map shows the six national parks in Ireland. The first national park, Killarney, was declared in 1932 and the last, Wild Nephin, in 1998. Together, they cover a total of 650 km², which is 0.91% of Ireland's total area.

You can find more information about the initiative here. #30DayMapChallenge in what I wrote in the newsletter.
