This map, published by Mexico's National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI) in 2020, shows the school enrolment rates for the country's different states.

To this end, three colours are used depending on the average years of schooling of 15-year-olds in each municipality in the country. The more years, the darker the shade of green:

  • Very high: more than 10 years on average.
  • Tall: between 8 and 10 years on average.
  • Low: between 6 and 8 years on average.
  • Very low: less than 6 years.
