To do this, Terence has extracted the data available at Kontur Population with which it generates, by means of a programme, columns with a height representing the population density at each point.
This map of Kenya shows the overall prominence of the capital, Nairobi, and its metropolitan area. Other notable cities include Mombasa, in the south-east of the country, and Kisumu, in the west, near Lake Victoria.
